Resin Christmas ornaments use a molded resin body to create a decorative shape, with a finish suited to the design. Our current wholesale collection focuses on resin ornaments with painted details and, on suitable designs, blank areas where retailers can add customer names. Check the selected product listing and sample for its specific material and finish.
Resin and polyresin: confirm the product specification
You may see suppliers describe decorative ornaments as resin or polyresin. These names alone do not tell you the exact formulation, coating, weight or test coverage of an item. If composition matters to your purchasing requirements, ask for the specification of the selected SKU instead of assuming that every ornament using the same category name has the same formula.
For an OEM project, agree the material, finish, colors, writing areas and packing with the approved sample. A reference photograph communicates an idea, but it does not establish all production specifications.
What should a wholesale buyer check?
| Detail | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Body and shape | Material description, dimensions and any raised decorative parts |
| Painted finish | Appearance of the actual sample and the agreed production standard |
| Writing area | Location, usable space and suitability for your store's lettering process |
| Hanging point | Attachment and how the sample hangs during normal display |
| Packing | Protection for the shape and the packing supplied with the order |
| Documents | Reports relevant to the selected product, material and intended market |
Photographs help you shortlist a style. A sample gives your team something to handle, measure and evaluate. Keep a record of the approved SKU and any agreed changes so your purchase order refers to the same item.
Personalization depends on the surface
Our wholesale ornaments arrive blank, and your store adds names to the designated writing areas. Test a suitable fine-tip permanent pen on a sample first, allow the ink to dry, and check it through your normal display and packing process. A material name by itself does not guarantee that every ink works on every finish.
Pens and individual gift boxes are not included. Check the Wholesale Guide for order minimums and current inclusions.
Ask for documents that match your order
Factory audit records, material test reports and finished-product tests answer different questions. Ask which available documents apply to your selected designs and destination market, and review the named sample, scope and date. A general material report should not be treated as proof of every possible requirement for every finished design.
Our material testing and factory audit page explains how to make a specific document request.
Choose the actual design before comparing materials
For this collection, start with the resin ornament that fits your store's theme, size and personalization needs. Future ranges using other materials should be assessed from their own product specifications. You can browse our current resin ornaments, then send us the SKUs and requirements for a quotation. Include quantities, destination and required arrival date; freight is confirmed separately.
